PROCRASTINATION

Hi guys welcome to my YouTube channel.... lol yea yea I know this is a blog, but I've always wanted to say that line .. so there I said it.

Now I would like to say i excel at many things ( I think) as long as I set my sight on it... but you see procrastination, it won't let me be great … and yes this is all procrastinations fault! i bear no liability what so ever!! I am innocent .

Seriously, its with the little things as well as the big things from listening to my daily bible podcast to writing a piece for this blog, even something as mundane as finishing a movie! I'm tired of myself …. but then I procrastinate any efforts to change.

I procrastinated studying for bar finals until one month to the exams !! thank God I passed because crash reading was hell.... I did well but maybe if I had started studying earlier I'd have come out with a first-class degree, but knowing me if I went back in time to do it all again trust Feyi to procrastinate all over.

Now don't get me wrong its not like I haven't tried .. I've set reminders ,given myself earlier deadlines , prayed ….all that left to do is to go for spiritual cleansing ( lol just kidding), I think because I'm used to doing all my best works under pressure I like it ( or I've gotten used to it i honestly cant tell the difference ) time and time again I have procrastinated and still gotten it done and done it well ( if I do say so myself).

Even this piece about procrastination is brought on by a deadline, Big Daddy wants to read something on the blog... its been too quiet

Pray for me people!!! because as much as I'd like to believe that I get things done.. a lot of things go undone … a truckload of things do not get done and its not a pretty picture.

I hope I don't procrastinate important things like planning my partners party and then when I finally get to it everyone who is important that's supposed to come has made other plans and thus I ruin my partners birthday/ surprise party * shivers* that's horrible! or I procrastinate planning a trip and all the hotels are booked lol or all together procrastinate getting married.... lol nothing is beyond procrastination at this point.

I read that the habit of procrastination is born out of a fear of failure, so I get it... I'm Nigerian that's it.... I'm Nigerian. Excellence is expected !!!

I think procrastination is my Achilles' heel! my one great weakness *sobs*, Every great person has one.( this is me trying to console myself).

So if I ever tell you I would do something and I don't I probably said to myself " I'd do it tomorrow (and then i didn't ) …. I'd do it the next day ( and then I forgot) I'm sorry.

Dear procrastination, my adversary to you I say this ; I will get you tomorrow!!!! Procrastination replies ; you know what they say .... tomorrow never comes...
